The club formerly known as the Warren-Washington County Model Railroaders
has a long history in the area. It had a rebirth in the basement of Aimie's
Dinner and a Movie in Downtown Glens Falls, NY. Shortly after the 2004 train
show the club was offered the basement as their permanent home thanks
to Bud Wolf, Sandy and Kerry Metivier. After
many years wandering in the desert (not really), the room offered the
possibility for expansion and because of the additional scales added to the
club we had many new members join. We are now up to 50 members and counting.
The clubs attractions are four large layouts, a library, and train
memorabilia. All layouts from N to G are running with construction
progressing.
A
complete rebuilding of the HO scale yard is underway to update it's operational
capabilities. Construction has started on a brand new G scale layout
and trains are running as of the last open house. Come down and visit on any Wednesday evening.
